Odroczone wartościowanie to wg Altszullera jedna z podstawowych metod kreatywnego rozwiązywania problemów. W fotografii polega na wielokrotnym oglądaniu, analizie znaczeń i ujawnianiu, jak zdjęcia komunikują. Od początku studiów fotograficznych zadajemy pytania o cel i sens realizowanych projektów. Twórczo podążamy za nieznanym i tworzymy historie na nowo. Pytania dotyczą fotografii, czasami fotograficznego procesu, innym razem życia i świata. Interesuje nas sposób, w jaki obraz opowiada. Wykorzystujemy rzeczywistość, by przyjrzeć się medium. Obraz nie tylko rejestruje. Obraz staje się zdarzeniem.

Eine aufgeschobene Wertung ist nach Altschuller eine der grundlegenden Methoden der kreativen Problemlösung. In der Fotografie geht es dabei um eine wiederholte Betrachtung, um Analyse von Bedeutungen und die Offenlegung der Art und Weise, wie Fotografien kommunizieren. Von Beginn des Fotostudiums an stellen wir Fragen nach dem Zweck und der Bedeutung der von uns erstellten Projekte. Wir gehen kreativ dem Unbekannten nach und erfinden Geschichten neu. Die Fragen drehen sich um die Fotografie, manchmal um den fotografischen Prozess, ein anderes Mal um das Leben und die Welt. Wir interessieren uns für die Art und Weise, wie ein Bild eine Geschichte erzählt. Wir nutzen die Realität, um das Medium zu betrachten. Das Bild hält nicht nur fest. Das Bild wird zum Ereignis.

Deferred judgement is, according to Altshuller, one of the basic methods of creative problem solving. In photography, it involves repeated viewing, analysing the meanings and revealing the way in which photographs communicate. From the beginning of our course in photography, we ask questions about the purpose and meaning of the projects we make. We creatively pursue the unknown and create stories anew. We ask questions about photography, sometimes about the photographic process, other times about life and the world. We are interested in the way an image tells a story. We use reality to look at the medium. The image is more than just a record. It becomes an event.
