W tegorocznej edycji międzynarodowego festiwalu sztuki zapraszamy artystów do podjęcia refleksji nad pojęciem „Cisza”.
In der diesjährigen Ausgabe des internationalen Kunstfestivals laden wir Künstler dazu ein, sich mit dem Begriff „Stille” auseinanderzusetzen.
In this year’s edition of the international art festival, we invite artists to reflect on the concept of ‘Silence’.
Długo szukaliśmy hasła, które byłoby równie mocne jak „Czas” z 2025 roku. Terminu, który jest uniwersalny, a jednocześnie aktualny. W czasach mediów społecznościowych, mowy nienawiści, przewrotów politycznych i zmian klimatycznych CISZA może być odczytana jako zaproszenie do zatrzymania się, jako sprzeciw wobec emocjonalnego hałasu i pochopnych osądów. CISZA jako przerwa, jako zatrzymanie się, jako stan, jako nic, jako cisza przed burzą, jako śnieg pokrywający wszystko, jako spojrzenie w gwiazdy, jako uważność, jako wycofanie się, wsłuchanie się i postrzeganie, jako znoszenie niewiedzy… Cisza jest przestrzenią, w której coś może się wydarzyć. Jest oddechem pomiędzy słowami, pauzą pomiędzy gestami, momentem zawieszenia. Bywa niewygodna, a niekiedy głośniejsza niż krzyk. To stan uważności, w której świat zwalnia, a zmysły się wyostrzają. To także doświadczenie niejednoznaczne: może koić, ale może niepokoić; może być wyborem albo przymusem; może chronić lub wykluczać. W ciszy ujawnia się to, co zwykle pozostaje na marginesie: ślad, resztka, echo.
Zapraszamy do nadsyłania propozycji artystycznych, które podejmują dialog z hasłem CISZA w sposób otwarty, osobisty i krytyczny.

Wir haben lange nach einem Motto gesucht, das ähnlich stark ist, wie das Thema „Zeit“ von 2025. Ein Begriff, der universell und zugleich aktuell ist. In Zeiten von Social Media, Hate Speech, politischen Umwälzungen und Klimawandel kann STILLE als Einladung zum Innehalten gelesen werden, als Widerstand gegen emotionalen Lärm und schnelles Urteilen. STILLE als Pause, als Anhalten, als Zustand, als Nichts, als Ruhe vor dem Sturm, als Intervall, als Schnee, der alles bedeckt, als Blick in die Sterne, als Achtsamkeit, als ein sich Zurücknehmen, Lauschen und Wahrnehmen, als Aushalten des Nichtwissens,…. STILLE ist ein Raum, in dem etwas geschehen kann. Sie ist der Atemzug zwischen den Worten, die Pause zwischen den Gesten, der Moment zwischen Ein- und Ausatmen. Manchmal ist STILLE unangenehm und manchmal lauter als ein Schrei. Es ist ein Zustand, in dem die Welt langsamer wird und die Sinne geschärft werden. Es ist auch eine mehrdeutige Erfahrung: Sie kann beruhigend, aber auch beunruhigend sein; sie kann eine Wahl oder ein Zwang sein; sie kann schützen oder ausschließen. In der STILLE offenbart sich das, was normalerweise am Rande bleibt: eine Spur, ein Rest, ein Echo.
Wir laden Künstler:inen ein, Vorschläge einzureichen, die sich offen, persönlich und kritisch mit dem Thema STILLE auseinandersetzen.
Ausstellungsvorschläge sind bis zum 31.03.2026 an die Kuratoren des Festivals zu senden
We long searched for a slogan as powerful as “Time” in 2025. For a term that is universal and yet topical. In an age of social media, hate speech, political upheaval, and climate change, SILENCE can be interpreted as an invitation to pause, as a protest against emotional noise and hasty judgments. SILENCE as a pause, as a stop, as a state, as nothing, as the calm before the storm, as snow covering everything, as gazing at the stars, as mindfulness, as withdrawal, listening, and perceiving, as enduring ignorance… Silence is a space for things to happen. It is a breath between words, a pause between gestures, a moment of suspension. It can be uncomfortable, and sometimes louder than a scream. It is a state of mind in which the world slows down and the senses sharpen. It is also an ambiguous experience: it can soothe, but it can also disturb; it can be a choice or a compulsion; it can protect or exclude. Silence reveals what usually remains on the margins: a trace, a remnant, an echo.
Artists are invited to send their proposals that address the theme of SILENCE in an open, personal, and critical manner.
Exhibition proposals should be submitted to the festival curators by the 31 st of March 2026.
