Festiwal, który odbywa się co roku w przedostatni weekend października, polega na trzydniowym spotkaniu artystów i prezentacji ich prac w wielu różnych miejscach w Słubicach, Frankfurcie nad Odrą i we wsi Urad.
Artyści pochodzą z Polski, Niemiec i całego świata. Zwiedzający mogą towarzyszyć im podczas oprowadzania od prezentacji do prezentacji lub zwiedzać wystawy indywidualnie. Festiwal uzupełniają wieczorne wykłady i filmy.
W okresie poprzedzającym festiwal „Akademia lAbiRynT” oferuje warsztaty dla amatorów i profesjonalistów z zakresu fotografii, multimediów, sztuki konceptualnej, instalacji i performance’u.
Każdego roku festiwal ma inny temat przewodni.
W 2024 r. festiwal lAbiRynT otrzymał Europejski Certyfikat Kraju Związkowego Brandenburgia (Europa-Urkunde des Landes Brandenburg ausgezeichnet)
Das jährlich am vorletzten Oktoberwochenende stattfindende Festival basiert auf einer dreitägigen Begegnung von Kunstschaffenden und der Präsentation ihrer Arbeiten an vielen verschiedenen Orten in Słubice, Frankfurt (Oder) und dem Dorf Urad.
Die Künstler:innen kommen aus Polen, Deutschland und der ganzen Welt. Besucher können sie auf einem Rundgang von Präsentation zu Prasentation begleiten, oder sich die Ausstellungen individuell erschliesen. Ergänzt wird das Festival durch abendliche Vorträge und Filme.
Im Vorfeld des Festivals bietet die „Akademie lAbiRynT“ Workshops fur Laien und Profis aus den Bereichen Fotografie, Multimedia, Konzeptkunst, Installation und Performance an.
Das Festival steht jedes Jahr unter einem anderen Motto.
2024 wurde das Festival lAbiRynT mit der Europa-Urkunde des Landes Brandenburg ausgezeichnet.
The festival, which takes place every year on the penultimate weekend of October, consists of a three-day meeting of artists and the presentation of their works in many various locations in Słubice, Frankfurt (Oder) and the village of Urad.
The artists come from Poland, Germany and all over the world. Visitors can accompany them on a guided tour from one presentation to the next one or visit the exhibitions individually. The festival is complemented by lectures and film presentations in the evenings.
In the run-up to the festival, the “lAbiRynT Academy” offers workshops for amateurs and professionals in the fields of photography, multimedia, conceptual art, installation and performance.
Every year the festival has a new topic.
In 2024, the In 2024, the lAbiRynT festival was awarded the European Certificate of the State of Brandenburg (Europa-Urkunde des Landes Brandenburg ausgezeichnet).

Czas | Zeit | Time to hasło przewodnie Festiwalu Nowej Sztuki lAbiRynT na 2025 rok
W tegorocznej edycji międzynarodowego festiwalu sztuki zapraszamy artystów do podjęcia refleksji nad pojęciem „czasu”. Czas jest jednym z najbardziej uniwersalnych, ale i najbardziej złożonych tematów, które w sztuce mogą przyjąć różnorodne formy i znaczenia. To zmieniająca się rzeczywistość, nieuchronny proces przemijania, a także przestrzeń, w której zapisujemy nasze wspomnienia, marzenia i plany.
Artystów zachęcamy do eksploracji „czasu” z różnych perspektyw: od jego fizycznego wymiaru, przez subiektywne odczuwanie, aż po filozoficzne, społeczne czy technologiczne zmiany, które kształtują nasze życie. Czas w sztuce może być zarówno liniowy, jak i cykliczny, zamrożony w chwili, jak i ulotny. Może to być temat do rozważań nad pamięcią, historią, kulturą, ale także wyzwań, które przynosi przyszłość.
W tegorocznej edycji festiwalu chcemy stworzyć przestrzeń dla różnorodnych działań artystycznych, które poprzez malarstwo, rzeźbę, muzykę, performance, film, czy nowe media podejmą próbę uchwycenia natury czasu w kontekście ludzkiej egzystencji, technologii czy natury.
„Czas” to temat otwarty na interpretację i dialog. Jesteśmy ciekawi, w jaki sposób artyści będą go rozumieć i prezentować oraz jakie pytania i odpowiedzi wyłonią się w wyniku tej artystycznej podróży.

In der diesjährigen Ausgabe des internationalen Kunstfestivals laden wir Künstler:innen ein, über den Begriff „Zeit“ nachzudenken. Zeit ist eines der universellsten, aber auch komplexesten Themen, das in der Kunst eine Vielzahl von Formen und Bedeutungen annehmen kann. Sie ist die sich verändernde Realität, der unvermeidliche Prozess des Vergehens und der Raum, in dem wir unsere Erinnerungen, Träume und Pläne festhalten.
Künstlerinnen und Künstler werden ermutigt, „Zeit“ aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln zu erforschen: von ihrer physischen Dimension über ihr subjektives Empfinden bis hin zu den philosophischen, sozialen oder technologischen Veränderungen, die unser Leben prägen. Zeit in der Kunst kann sowohl linear als auch zyklisch sein, im Moment eingefroren oder flüchtig. Sie kann ein Thema sein, um über Erinnerung, Geschichte, Kultur, aber auch über die Herausforderungen der Zukunft nachzudenken.
Mit dem diesjährigen Festival wollen wir einen Raum für eine Vielzahl von künstlerischen Aktivitäten schaffen, die versuchen, das Wesen der Zeit im Kontext der menschlichen Existenz, der Technologie oder der Natur durch Malerei, Skulptur, Musik, Performance, Film oder neue Medien zu erfassen.
„Zeit“ ist ein Thema, das für Interpretationen und Dialoge offen ist. Wir sind neugierig darauf, wie Künstler:innen sie verstehen und darstellen werden und welche Fragen und Antworten sich aus dieser künstlerischen Reise ergeben werden.
Ausstellungsvorschläge sollten bis zum 31.03.2025 an die Kuratoren des Festivals geschickt werden.
Czas | Zeit | Time is the motto of the Festival of New Art lAbiRynT for 2025
In this year’s edition of the international art festival, we invite artists to reflect on the concept of ‘time’. Time is one of the most universal but also the most complex themes that can take on a variety of forms and meanings in art. It is the changing reality, the inevitable process of passing away, and the space in which we record our memories, dreams and plans.
Artists are encouraged to explore ‘time’ from various perspectives: from its physical dimension, to our subjective feeling and the philosophical, social or technological changes that shape our lives. Time in art can be both linear and cyclical, frozen in the moment and ephemeral. It can be a theme for reflecting on memory, history, culture, but also the challenges that the future brings.
In this year’s festival, we want to create a space for a variety of artistic activities that attempt to capture the nature of time in the context of human existence, technology or nature through painting, sculpture, music, performance, film or new media.
‘Time’ is a theme open to interpretation and dialogue. We are curious to see how artists will understand it, present it and what questions and answers will emerge from this artistic journey.
