Autonomia osobista, długoterminowy projekt Lenki L. Lukačovičovej, odzwierciedla tematy pamięci, intymności i relacji z otoczeniem jako zwierciadła zarówno indywidualnej, jak i zbiorowej tożsamości. W projekcie tym artystka, sięgnąwszy do rodzinnego albumu fotograficznego, poprzez dialog z rodzicami przedstawia tematyczne mikronarracje na podstawie wizerunków obecnych oraz byłych członków rodziny. Rezultat przybiera formę intymnego pamiętnika na dwóch poziomach: plątaniny fotografii stworzonej przez wiele dosłownych i fizycznych warstw oraz obiektu złożonego ze szklanych powierzchni tabletów – są to ekrany, na których migają fragmenty wydarzeń o celowo niejednoznacznym autorstwie. Te pamiętnikarskie formy przyglądają się doświadczeniu istnienia oraz rytuałom, którymi posługujemy się, aby je wzbogacić (kształtując w ten sposób własną mitologię), i snują refleksję nad przyjmowaniem obserwowanych wzorców i osobistymi wyborami uczenia się i odkrywania. Wykorzystanie figuracji ujawnia centralne miejsce, jakie ludzkie ciało ma jako punkt odniesienia w sztuce zachodniej. Artystka podchodzi do medium intuicyjnie, skupiając się na codziennych szczegółach, odniesieniach wizualnych i hipertekstualnych, które odkrywa i czyni na nowo widoczne.

Persönliche Autonomie ist ein Langzeitprojekt von Lenka L. Lukačovičová. Es reflektiert über Themen wie Erinnerung, Intimität und die Beziehung zur eigenen Umgebung als Spiegel der individuellen und kollektiven Identität. Das Projekt präsentiert thematische Mikronarrative mit Porträts von gegenwärtigen und früheren Familienmitgliedern, die im Dialog mit ihren Eltern aus dem Familienfotoalbum stammen. Das Ergebnis nimmt die Form eines intimen Tagebuchs in zwei Schichten an: ein Gewirr von Fotografien, das durch mehrfache, buchstäbliche und physische Schichten entsteht, und ein Objekt, das aus Glastafeln besteht – Bilder, auf denen Fragmente von Ereignissen mit absichtlich zweideutiger Autorenschaft aufblitzen. Diese tagebuchartigen Formen erforschen die Erfahrung des Seins, die Rituale, mit denen wir sie anreichern (und so eine individuelle Mythologie formen), und reflektieren sowohl die Übernahme von beobachteten Mustern als auch die persönlichen Entscheidungen des Lernens und der Entdeckung. Die Verwendung der Figuration offenbart die zentrale Bedeutung des menschlichen Körpers als Bezugspunkt in der westlichen Kunst. Die Künstlerin nähert sich dem Medium intuitiv, indem sie sich auf alltägliche Details, visuelle und hypertextuelle Referenzen konzentriert, die sie aufdeckt und wieder sichtbar macht.

Personal Autonomy, a long-term project by Lenka L. Lukačovičová, reflects on themes of memory, intimacy, and the relationship to one’s surroundings as a mirror of both individual and collective identity. The project presents thematic micro-narratives featuring portraits of both present and past family members, drawing on the family photo album through a dialogue with her parents. The outcome takes the form of an intimate diary in two layers — a tangle of photographs created through multiple, literal and physical layers, and an object composed of tablet glass surfaces — screens flashing fragments of events with intentionally ambiguous authorship. These diaristic forms explore the experience of being, the rituals we use to enrich it (thus shaping our individual mythology), and reflect on both the adoption of observed patterns and the personal choices of learning and discovery. The use of figuration reveals the centrality of the human body as a reference point in Western art. The artist approaches the medium intuitively, focusing on everyday details, visual and hypertextual references she uncovers and brings back into visibility.
