Antymateria to – wg Wikipedii – „układ antycząstek, a antycząstki to cząstki elementarne podobne do występujących w «zwykłej» materii, ale o przeciwnym ładunku […] W momencie kontaktu antymaterii z materią obie ulegają anihilacji. Energia związana z masą spoczynkową anihilujących cząstek ulega przy tym zamianie na energię promieniowania elektromagnetycznego lub energię kinetyczną lżejszych cząstek”. Definicja ta doskonale ilustruje stan świadomości wielu, głównie młodych twórców, dla których istota tworzenia nie ma nic wspólnego z wytwarzaniem dzieł natury materialnej. Parafrazując więc cytowaną definicję: myśl twórcza w kontakcie z materią podlega swoistemu unicestwieniu. Wyzwolona w tym procesie energia staje się zarówno nowym tworzywem generującym nowe treści, jak i przestrzenią pozbawioną materii w dotychczasowym znaczeniu. Unieważnienie pierwotnych znaczeń staje u podstaw powstawania nowych artystycznych postkonstruktów. Na pokazie zaprezentowane są realizacje filmowe i okołofilmowe osób studiujących w czterech pracowniach Filmu Eksperymentalnego UAP. Realizacje te w znacznej mierze krytycznie problematyzują przywołaną powyżej koncepcję.

Antimaterie ist – laut Wikipedia – „ein System von Antiteilchen, und Antiteilchen sind Elementarteilchen, die denen der ‚gewöhnlichen‘ Materie ähnlich sind, aber eine entgegengesetzte Ladung haben […] Wenn Antimaterie mit Materie in Kontakt kommt, werden beide vernichtet. Dabei wird die Energie, die mit der Ruhemasse der annihilierenden Teilchen verbunden ist, in elektromagnetische Strahlungsenergie oder kinetische Energie der leichteren Teilchen umgewandelt.“ Diese Definition veranschaulicht perfekt den Bewusstseinszustand vieler, vor allem junger Künstler, für die das Wesen des Schaffens nichts mit der Herstellung von Werken materieller Natur zu tun hat. Um die oben zitierte Definition zu paraphrasieren: Der schöpferische Gedanke, der mit der Materie in Berührung kommt, unterliegt einer Art Annihilation. Die in diesem Prozess freigesetzte Energie wird sowohl zu einem neuen Material, das neue Inhalte hervorbringt, als auch zu einem Raum, der der Materie in ihrer bisherigen Bedeutung entzogen ist. Die Aufhebung ursprünglicher Bedeutungen wird zur Grundlage für das Entstehen neuer künstlerischer PostKonstrukte. Die Ausstellung zeigt filmische und filmverwandte Realisationen von Studierenden aus den vier Studios des Experimentalfilms der UAP. Diese Umsetzungen problematisieren in hohem Maße kritisch das oben genannte Konzept.

Antimatter is, according to Wikipedia, “an arrangement of antiparticles. Antiparticles are elementary particles similar to those found in ‘ordinary’ matter, but with reversed charge […] A collision between any particle and its anti-particle partner leads to their mutual annihilation, In this process, the energy associated with the rest mass of the annihilating particles is converted into electromagnetic radiation energy or kinetic energy of lighter particles.” This definition perfectly illustrates the consciousness of many artists, mainly young ones, for whom the essence of creation has nothing in common with the production of works of material nature. To paraphrase the definition above: creative thought in contact with matter undergoes a kind of annihilation. The energy released in this process becomes both a new material generating new content and a space deprived of matter in its traditional meaning. The invalidation of original meanings becomes the basis for the emergence of new artistic post-constructs. The show features film and film-related pieces by students from 4 Studios of Experimental Film at UAP. These works largely critically problematise the concept mentioned above.
